Anita is a soft brown-toned pink with warm, yellow undertones and a cream finish. A great nude pink If you love overlying your lips for that sexy pout. I have a few lipsticks from the Audacious range and they are all so pigmented and rich, one swipe is all you need to achieve a full coverage finish. The formula is not the most moisturising on my super dry lips as it is classed as a matte lipstick but I can forgive that for the staying power and the beautiful finish. The packaging is classic for Nars with their simple and chic designs. The Audacious lipsticks are packaged in sleek matte black tubes with a magnetic snap shut lid. I find myself just opening and letting the lid snap shut by itself for ages! Annoying person alert.
This lipstick is part of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range. Bitch perfect is lightly muted, light-medium coral with a hint of pink and warm undertones, and it has a lightly luminous finish–a little more of a sheen than satin. The K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick formula is high in pigmentation and has a luminous finish, which is why this has become one of my favourite lipsticks range. My lips were left soft, pert, soothed and hydrated. I find when I wear this my lips appear fuller and smoother thanks to the luminous satin finish. It glides on the lips so easy without any tugging and deposits and even colour coverage. what more could you ask for? Bitch perfect is the ideal every day colour, it is a your lips but better colour, and I can wear this for a good few hours before I need to touch up. I also need to mention the smell. If you used to buy Mac lipsticks just for the smell this is just the same delicious vanilla scent.
Blush nude is the lightest in my collection, it is an opaque, soft pink beige with a creamy consistency and a barely-there sheen. It has warm, subtly yellow undertones. This is another Jaclyn Hill made me do it purchase, and for an extravagant price tag. However the packaging alone is beautiful, the lipstick is housed in a rich dark brown and gold square-shaped tube, with the ‘TF’ logo carved into the top of the lid and onto the slant of the bullet. I feel sophisticated every time I pull this little tube out of my bag. The formula is creamy and comfortable to wear. This isn’t the most pigmented lipstick I own however I prefer that for this particular colour as otherwise I think I would look washed out. I also prefer this lipstick for on the go as I can easily apply this colour without a mirror and not worry what it looks like.
Penelope Pink is a pink creamy nude that’s a few shades lighter than Bitch Perfect. I would say it is more of a brown nude which compliments medium skin tones. Again the formula is high in pigmentation with a luminous finish. This is my go to colour when I want something to compliment a dramatic eye or I want a lipstick that would go with any outfit. Super hydrating and beautiful. I think my obsession with Charlotte Tilbury has started.
A precision lipstick which allows for easy and precise application throughout the day without the need for sharpening. Great for travelling and throwing in your handbag. The colour Creator is a muted, medium pink with neutral-to-warm undertones and a natural sheen. This is a pretty summer shade of pink for me as it is the lightest pink nude in this collection. The lipstick features a hydrating blend of Shea butter, jojoba, mimosa and sunflower seed to provide a moisture and nourish like no other lipstick. The silky formula glides across the lips for a second-skin feel wth a lustrous finish. I often use this like a tinted lip balm as it is so nourishing. It also has a slight hint of vanilla scent.
