Who doesn’t want to be sun kissed all year round? I am obsessed with bronzers and i’m always on the hunt for more. These are my top 5 must have bronzers you need in your make up collection!
A cream based bronzer that just melts into the skin. I use this mainly when I am having a ‘no make-up day’ and just I want to look bronzed and healthy. I use the real techniques sculpting brush or the sigma brush to buff along my cheek bones and outer forehead. This bronzer is a medium, golden brown with warm, yellow undertones and a barely-there golden pearl. It would suit light-medium skin tones. This bronzer only comes in one shade.
My most recent purchase and one of my favourites! I was hunting for the perfect red/cool tone bronzer, I admit when I first saw it in the pan I didn’t think much of it however this colour is so beautiful! It’s a Muted, medium, rosy brown with neutral-to-warm undertones and a soft sheen. In the pan the bronzer looks very shimmery however once applied to the face it gives a soft summer glow. It would suit light-medium skin tones. This bronzer comes in four shades, Radiant Bronze is on my wish list.
It will take a lot of bronzing to run out of this product, the pan is huge! This bronzer is so amazing; it has a subtle glow that leaves skin looking healthy and radiant. It builds up beautifully on the skin as it is so finely milled which makes application so easy you haven’t got to worry about over applying. For me I love to look bronzed and this certainly lets me achieve that. This bronzer is on the warm side but never orange. This bronzer comes in four shades.
An essential matte bronzer which is perfect for fair-light medium skin tones. This is my go to winter bronzer when I am more on the pale side. The texture is so soft and silky you can apply with a light hand for a natural bronzed look or build it up for to achieve model worthy cheek bones. This bronzer comes in an impressive eight shades.
Mac – give me sun
A true bronzing shade for light to medium skin, Mac describes it as a ‘light summer peach tan’. This bronzer will not be suitable to contour with, however if you like the tanned look this is the bronzer for you! If you are on the fairer side I would suggest going in with a light hand as this bronzer will look orange very quickly. This is my go to bronzer when I am tanned, I love it! Mac has a whopping 15 shades to choose from.
My bronzer game changed recently when I took the plunge and purchased the Tom Ford bronzer brush. Jaclyn Hill highly rated it and I knew straight away I had to do get it. Start saving now as it will cost you a whopping £82! I don’t regret my decision at all, this brush applies bronzer like no other brush I own, it picks up just the right amount of product and effortlessly disperses it on the areas of your face. The only down side is I want more Tom Ford brushes.
